4. Urine formation: The remaining filtrate, now urine, passes through the collecting ducts and is excreted from the body.

Importance of Kidney Function

1. Waste elimination: The kidneys filter waste products like urea, creatinine, and uric acid from the blood. Impaired function leads to waste buildup, causing fatigue, nausea, and confusion.

5. Hypertension: Chronic high blood pressure damages the kidneys, leading to CKD.
